Grilled Garlic Scape Chicken


• 1 lb chicken breast tenders

• salt and pepper to taste

• 5 tbsp garlic scapes, run through food processor until fine

• 3 tbsp olive oil

• 2 tsp lemon juice, fresh or bottled


  • Salt and pepper chicken pieces on both sides.
  • Mix remaining ingredients together and baste chicken pieces.
  • Heat grill to medium high. Place chicken on grill and let it brown on the first side. Baste and turn to the second side.
  • Depending on the size of your tenders, they should take approximately 10 minutes. Internal temperature should be 165°F
